The page-per-minute shorthand is approximate. Format, dialogue density, action, and filmmaking style change screen time. Many readers expect feature specs to fall within a familiar range, and some competitions set explicit limits. The correct standard is the current requirement of the recipient plus the story’s disciplined needs.
